Bloom Cafe's card by the till shows the same amount every cup, so the code always has the right price.
This PayPal QR code generator turns a PayPal.Me link into a code people scan to pay you, with an optional amount and currency baked in. It runs in your browser and needs nothing from you but the PayPal.Me username you already have.
Scan it once from the screen before you print a batch. Keep it 2 cm or larger on paper, and leave the white margin around it.
Save this design - colors, corners, logo and frame - and put it on any code later. Saved in this browser.
One value per line, or paste a CSV. With two columns the first is the file name and the second is the value. Every code uses the design you set up above.
Lay the code out on an A4 page with cut marks, ready for the printer or a label sheet.
A PayPal QR code is your PayPal.Me link wrapped in a code: add an amount and PayPal prefills it, so a till or an invoice needs just one scan.
It's the same paypal.me link PayPal itself uses, so there's nothing new to set up on PayPal's side. Add a currency straight after the amount, no space - 25EUR, not 25 EUR.
PayPal.Me names are letters and numbers only, up to 20 characters, and can't be changed once chosen - worth picking one you'll keep.

| Good for | A till sign, an invoice footer, a stall banner. | A quick tap when you're both already in the app. |
Bloom Cafe's card by the till shows the same amount every cup, so the code always has the right price.
Rowan Vale Design prints the exact balance due on every invoice, so clients scan and pay without typing a number.
Ember Fest leaves the amount off, since merch prices vary by item - the code just opens the payment page.

PayPal's steps and fees change - confirm on PayPal's own help pages.
Yes - add the amount and a currency code after your name, like paypal.me/yourname/25EUR. Leave both off and the payer chooses.

It depends how the payment is sent and can change - check PayPal's current fees before you rely on a figure.
Pick another one - names are alphanumeric only, up to 20 characters, first come first served, and locked in once chosen.
Make a code without an amount if the price varies, or print a new one whenever it changes - a code is a fixed link.
Build a QR landing page: add links, text, images and your logo, then point one editable QR at it.
