TRON QR code generator

Use this TRON QR code generator to put your wallet address in front of any TRX wallet, ready to scan. It carries only the address, with no amount - and getting the network right matters more here than on most chains.

Editable codes are saved to a free account. Two are free to try.

Get paid in TRX or USDT without losing it to the wrong network

Paste a TRON address in and the code hands it to any scanning wallet, ready for a send screen - nothing more. TRON is also where USDT most often moves for its low fees, which makes one habit worth building: checking the network, not just the address.

What actually gets scanned

The code holds one short line: tron: followed by your address, always 34 characters starting with the letter T. No amount, no token name - the payer's wallet asks for the rest.

What this generator's TRON QR code stores
tron:TQRabbitDemoAddr3ssNotForRealUse9
  1. tron: tells the wallet this is an address to pay, not text to display.
  2. Address always starts with T - example address, not valid on purpose.

The one mistake that actually loses TRON payments

USDT exists on both TRON, as TRC-20, and Ethereum, as ERC-20 - same name, different networks, and they are not interchangeable.
Loses funds

Copying an Ethereum-style address (0x...) into a TRON send

Safe

Copying the TRON address (T...) your own wallet's receive screen shows

An 0x address sent to a TRON wallet is not a TRON address at all, and the transfer can't be recovered.

Fees and confirmation times move with demand on both chains; check them on each network's own explorer at the time rather than trusting a fixed figure.

Verify an address before it goes on a card or a wall

  1. Copy from the wallet

Take it straight from your own wallet's receive screen, not from a chat message.

  2. Check the first character

A TRON address always starts with T; anything else, including 0x..., belongs to a different network.

  3. Check the last few characters too

Compare them against your wallet's own screen after scanning, not only before you print.

  4. Scan it yourself first

Confirm the address matches before the code goes on a hundred flyers instead of one test print.

TRX address QR code questions

No. This generator encodes only the address, as tron:address. The payer's wallet asks for the amount and the token.

They share a name and a peg, but they're separate tokens on separate networks - TRC-20 on TRON, ERC-20 on Ethereum - and moving between them needs an exchange or a bridge.

By its first character and length: TRON is 34 characters starting with T, Ethereum is 42 characters starting with 0x.

In almost every case it can't be recovered - there's no built-in bridge, so the funds sit at an address nobody meant to pay.
