Shop window decal
A decal by the door for Bloom Cafe, next to a line about what following gets you.
This Instagram QR code generator turns a username into a code that opens the profile the moment someone scans it. No login and no app needed here - paste the handle and download the code.
Scan it once from the screen before you print a batch. Keep it 2 cm or larger on paper, and leave the white margin around it.
Save this design - colors, corners, logo and frame - and put it on any code later. Saved in this browser.
One value per line, or paste a CSV. With two columns the first is the file name and the second is the value. Every code uses the design you set up above.
Lay the code out on an A4 page with cut marks, ready for the printer or a label sheet.
Instagram already puts a QR code in every profile's menu. Here's what that one is good for, when to build your own instead, and what the link inside either one holds.
| Situation | Better pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Sharing in person, phone in hand | Instagram's own code | Already open, and stylable with a colour, an emoji or a selfie background. |
| A sticker, package or flyer to print | A code built here | Downloads as a print-ready PNG, SVG or WEBP - no app or sign-in needed. |
| Someone without Instagram scans it | Either one | Both are plain QR codes now, opening in a browser with an option to get the app. |
Just a username turned into a profile link - the same address the browser bar would show after visiting the profile directly, so it opens with or without Instagram installed.
Type it without the @ - the builder strips one automatically if pasted anyway, and there is nothing to verify first, so building a code for a client's account is just as quick as your own.
Put it where a phone is already out and a reason to follow is close by.

On a coffee bag from Northwind Roastery, small enough not to crowd the label.
On the Ember Fest gate poster, so gate photos lead straight back to the account.

Same profile, different job: the app's version is shown on screen for the signed-in account, this one is a downloadable image made from a username - built for print, or for someone else's account.
